Police searching for suspects in early morning shooting

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police are looking for two suspects who left a Las Vegas man fighting for his life.

Police said that around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, a man was approached by two suspects, likely teens, on Nellis Boulevard near Boulder Highway.

The victim was moving furniture. One of the teens was armed with a handgun and shot the victim several times. The suspects then fled.

The victim was taken to UMC Trauma were her underwent surgery.

The first suspect is described as 19 years old with a thin build. The second suspect is described as about 19 years old with a thin build and dreadlocks.

A motive for the shooting is not known.
