LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Detectives said an armed robber who struck at a southeast Las Vegas business was masked but had his hair uncovered.

The armed hold-up happened in the 5000 block of S. Eastern Avenue just before 1:30 a.m. on June 26, Las Vegas Metro police said.

The suspect entered the business and confronted an employee with a handgun, demanding money from the cash register.

The person fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

The suspect was described as a black man, 20 to 25 years of age, about 5'8" and 150 pounds with large afro-style hair.

He wore a black mask, black shirt, black pants and black gloves.

Police urge anyone with information on the suspect to call Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
