LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A nonprofit organization is calling on southern Nevadans to help the area's homeless during the intense heat of the summer.
HELP of Southern Nevada and Whole Foods locations in the Las Vegas area will collect bottled water and cash donations during their joint "HELP2O" campaign through August.
Campaign organizers said donations will be accepted at Whole Foods at the following locations:
- 7250 W. Lake Mead Boulevard;
- 6689 Las Vegas Boulevard S. (Town Square);
- 100 S. Green Valley Parkway (Henderson);
- 8855 W. Charleston Boulevard.
Water bought at Whole Foods or other places can be dropped off. In addition, local company Real Water match and donate any of its products bought at Whole Foods. For example, if a case of Real Water is purchased, the company will donate a case.
