NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A woman sought for a robbery in North Las Vegas held up a pharmacy and got away with a number of pills, police said.
The robbery was reported about 7:30 p.m. on July 5 at the Walgreen's in the 500 block of E. Centennial Parkway.
According to witnesses, the woman entered the store and presented pharmacy workers a note demanding prescription pain medication.
A worker gave the woman an undisclosed amount of pills. The suspect then fled the scene.
She may have had a gun in her waistband, but it was not shown during the robbery, police said.
Police also believe the woman fled in a white Jeep Compass.
She was described as a white woman, 5'3" to 5'6" and about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants, a beanie, black gloves and a large pair of sunglasses. Witnesses said she may have a scar on her right cheek.
