LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Nevada Youth Alliance is partnering to bring its 14th Annual Community Back to School and Educational Fair.
The event will take place Saturday, Aug. 18 from 8 a.m. to noon at the College of Southern Nevada, Cheyenne Campus on 3200 East Cheyenne Avenue.
This year's event will include an exciting addition of a Back to School "What Peace Means To Me" dance, music, fashion and entertainment coordinated by Mexico Vivo Dance Company.
The company will also showcase various acts immediately following the fair inside the Horn Theater at CSN from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Additional free activities during the event include dental check-ups, eye exam screenings, youth physicals, immunizations, school supplies, blood pressure & blood sugar checks for family members, and youth and family education and prevention program information.
Nearly 100 volunteers will participate in support of the many families across Clark County.
