Car stalled on Deer Springs and Buffalo (Arron Healy/FOX5)

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

At least 10 vehicles are stalled due to flooding in the northwest area of Buffalo and U.S. Highway 95.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas issued a flash flood warning for the Centennial Hills area due to heavy rain until 10:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Flash flooding is expected on area roadways, around underpasses and in normally dry washes. The National Weather Service has warned the public to never try to cross a flooded roadway or walk through floodwaters. Flash flooding is natures number one killer.
