LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The officer involved in the July 12th shooting of an escaped chimpanzee has been identified as Sergeant Andrew Legrow.
Sergeant Legrow is 49-years-old and has been with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 27 years.
Legrow is a patrol sergeant currently assigned to the Northwest Area Command.
