At least five people were injured Friday afternoon in a rollover accident about 10 miles north of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
NHP troopers said a Ford Explored rolled over on an access road near I-15. All of the victims received head injuries. A few of the victims had to be extracted from the vehicle.
A 6-year-old is in the worst condition. He was taken by helicopter to University Medical Center. The others were taken by ambulance. It's not known if any of the victims were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Troopers said it appears the rollover was caused by a tire blowout.
