LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
While rescuers were responding to an incident in which a person jumped or fell from the Hoover Dam bypass bridge Thursday at 11 a.m., they discovered two other bodies nearby.
The Highway Patrol was called to nearby mile marker 2 on northbound U.S. 93 where one body was found on the side of the road. The office of the Clark County Coroner is investigating the death. It's unknown how long the body had been there.
While searching for the body of the man who fell from the bridge, crews found a body belonging to someone else in a ravine.
The body of the man who fell from the bypass bridge has not been found. Police called off the search for his body at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
