NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
The city of North Las Vegas has released the results of its "Joining Together" safety event. On July 6, officers targeted drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol in major thoroughfares and areas known for high traffic.
The results are as follows:
- 4 DUI arrests
- 13 speed violations
- 4 seatbelt/child safety seat violations
- 9 driver's license violations
- 5 registration violations
- 5 equipment violations
- 9 insurance violations
- 4 cellphone use violations
- 19 miscellaneous violations
- 19 verbal warnings
