The Las Vegas man who was brutally beaten in a home invasion that claimed the lives of his wife and daughter is expected to speak publicly Thursday.
Arturo Martinez, who was critically injured in an attack at his home on April 16, has scheduled a news conference set at the boxing gym he owns, Real KO Gym.
Organizers of the news conference said he is expected to talk about continuing the mission of his family's gym, which includes teaching boxing to kids and keeping them on a positive path.
Arturo had been hospitalized for nearly a month after the incident that killed wife Yadira and 10-year-old daughter Karla.
The man accused in their deaths, Bryan Clay, 22, faces trial in June 2013.
The news conference is scheduled for 11 a.m.
