LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Organizers for Thursday's USA Men's Basketball game at the Thomas & Mack Center are advising fans to get to the event early.

The USA Basketball Showcase planned in Las Vegas will tip-off at 6 p.m., with doors open at 4:15 p.m.

Fans, though, are being told to arrive early or use public transportation or carpools to get to the game. Organizers said the area around the arena will most likely be congested closer to game time.

Fans with will-call tickets are also being told to pick them up at the Thomas & Mack Center box office as early as possible beginning Wednesday.

Box office hours are listed as 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Wednesday. The ticket office will be open on game day also at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available through 7 p.m. on game night.

Tickets for the pre-Olympics exhibition game that also features the Dominican Republic are sold out, according to UNLVtickets.com.
