LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A transformer fire on Ridgepointe Way near Eastern Avenue and Pebble Road Tuesday evening knocked out power to several homes in the area.
The fire was quickly put out but about 96 customers in the area were left without power. NV Energy said power would be restored by late Tuesday night.
There was also a power outage in Southern Highlands near Cactus Avenue and Jones Boulevard. Roughly 280 customers went without power there. The cause of the outage has not been determined.
