
Firefighters have the Egan Fire, burning about 200 miles north of Las Vegas near Lund, 90-percent contained.
Still, firefighters are patrolling the 7,238-acre fire with ground and aviation resources. Isolated areas of smoke are expected throughout the interior of the burn area, and may be visible to White Pine County residents throughout July.
The cause of the fire, which stared at around 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, is still under investigation.
