
A 36-year-old man and his 3-year old son drowned at Lake Mohave's Six Mile Cove near Cottonwood Cove on Sunday.
Officials said the man and child fell off of a raft at the cove at around 11:20 a.m.
Neither were wearing a personal flotation device.
The male adult did not survive despite the efforts of bystanders and National Park Service personnel.
The child was airlifted to University Medical Center in critical condition where he later succumbed to injuries.
