Apartment fire started in kitchen, investigators say

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Fire Department responded to an apartment fire just before midnight on Friday at the Lake Charlotte Apartments at 3120 Wynn Road.

According to fire officials, there was heavy fire and smoke upon arrival.

There were no reported injuries from the fire.

Clark County Fire says the fire started from cooking on a stove.

Two adults and four children were displaced from their apartment.

The fire caused an estimated $55,000 in damage.
