'Magician' scores record $18M poker tourney win

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

It cost $1 million just to enter. On Tuesday night, the winner of the World Series of Poker's "Big One for One Drop" tournament took home the largest single prize in poker history.

The winner, pro poker player Antonio Esfandiari, won a whopping $18.3 million during a nationally televised final table.

Esfandiari, who won a platinum bracelet, beat out 47 competitors. Runner-up Sam Trickett will take home more than $10 million.

One Drop is a charity dedicated to providing people with access to clean water. It will receive $5.5 million in donations.
