Metro police looking for Sahara/Nellis bank robber

Metro police are looking for the man who robbed a bank near Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard on June 30.

Police said the man entered the bank just before 3 p.m. and pretended to fill out a deposit slip. He then approached a teller, handing over a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

The suspect is described as between 30 and 35 years old, 5'5", and heavyset with thin arms. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, green checkerboard shirt and blue pants.
