LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A 45-year-old Las Vegas man was identified by Metro police Monday as the "Mustache Bandit" who committed a series of robberies at unnamed sandwich shops and electronics stores.

Troy Mullner is charged with multiple counts of robbery, robbery with a deadly weapon, attempted robbery, burglary and burglary with a deadly weapon.

The robber was dubbed the "Mustache Bandit" due to his facial hair. Mullner has a goatee in a mugshot provided by police.

Robbery Section Lt. Ron Fox said two officers from Southwest Command recently recognized a man matching the description of the suspect.

Mullner was arrested after he was stopped and questioned about the robberies, Fox said.

The suspect was also seen getting into the passenger side of a small white pick-up truck. Police said the suspected getaway driver was described as a white man, but he has not been identified.
