No bail was set Monday for a Las Vegas man accused of shooting his parents.
Jeffrey Wilson, 28, appeared for an initial hearing in Clark County Justice Court in Las Vegas.
He was arrested June 27 after the early morning shooting on Greendale Street, near Mountain Vista Street and Vegas Valley Drive.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, a neighbor called officers after hearing gunshots. Officers arriving at the residence of Bill and Katherine Wilson found a man and woman shot in a white sedan at the home.
The woman died at the scene while the man was transported to Sunrise Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police said Jeffrey Wilson was arrested as a suspect in shooting.
A neighbor told FOX5 the victims were indeed Wilson's parents.
He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of murder with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.
A preliminary hearing was set for July 24.
