LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, the Clark County School District (CCSD) declared an impasse in negotiations with the teachers union, Clark County Education Association (CCEA).
CCSD says it will involve an arbitrator in trying to get a contract in place before the 2012-13 school year begins.
The statement goes on to claim CCSD attempted to schedule additional negotiation dates with CCEA but did not receive a reply.
FOX5 is reaching out to union representatives for reaction and will have updated information as it becomes available.
