Crew battles small wildfire at Mt. Charleston

A crew of about 20 is battling a wildfire at Mt. Charleston.

The fire, called the Harris Fire, was first reported Sunday at around 8:30 p.m. about a quarter mile above the Fletcher View Campground.

The fire is between a quarter and a half acre in size. First responders include members of the Nevada Division of Forestry and Clark County Volunteer Fire Department.

Crews are hoping to have the fire out by Tuesday. The cause of the blaze is so far unknown. There are no reports of injuries associated with the fire.
