LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Las Vegas mother and daughter charged with killing an elderly neighbor are expected to appear in court on July 6.
Lourie Rodriguez, 46, and Amber Hall, 26, had their preliminary hearing continued on Friday.
The two were charged in April with murder in connection with the death of 73-year-old Jean Greenburg.
According to police, the two conspired to beat Greenburg and steal her bank card and collectable coins.
Greenburg was found beaten and stabbed multiple times at her home at the Pinewood Apartments on Cambridge Street near Twain Avenue. The two were caught after surveillance cameras captured the two using the woman's bank card.
Police also said a knife was found in Hall's baby stroller for her 3-month-old child.
In an exclusive interview with FOX5, Rodriguez expressed remorse and admitted that something Greenburg expressed to her triggered an angry reaction.
"She was judging me because I let my daughter spend the night with her boyfriend and people think it's wrong and it's not. I got angry because she kept going on and on and on," Rodriguez said in the interview.
