Motor home catches fire north of downtown Vegas

A motor home parked next to a duplex was destroyed by fire north of downtown Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reported the blaze in the 600 block of W. Monroe Avenue, near Jackson Avenue and G Street, at 7:41 a.m.

The motor home was fully involved in flames. The fire also entered one apartment of the duplex.

Two adults and two children were evacuated from the residence. No injuries were reported.

The motor home and a boat were destroyed. A van and the apartment had minor damage.

Damage was estimated at $10,000. No word on what caused the fire.
