Las Vegas is known worldwide for its excellence in the hospitality industry.
The Las Vegas Hospitality Association (LVHA) is celebrating its 50th anniversary year Thursday.
During the celebration, five LVHA Distinction Awards recipients will also be announced.
The announcement ceremony will take place at the Venetian-Palazzo Congress Center at 12:10 p.m.
A special awards dinner will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in September to honor the recipients.
The LVHA is a non-profit state association made up of hundred of professionals in the hospitality industry.
