Pet killed in west Vegas house fire

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A pet cat was killed in a house fire in west Las Vegas Wednesday.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reported the blaze in the 4900 block of Harmony Avenue, near Decatur Boulevard and U.S. 95, just after 1:30 p.m.

Fire officials said the blaze was accidental but they did not say what exactly sparked it.

No other injuries were reported.

Damage was estimated at $75,000.
