LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Update: As of 3:15 p.m. Thursday, crowd funding website Indiegogo.com had raised more than $340,000 for Karen Klein's "dream vacation."

A group of students in western New York are being investigated after tormenting a 68-year-old school bus monitor for more than 10 minutes and posting video of the incident on YouTube.

In a clip titled "Making the Bus Monitor Cry," the students take turns hurling profanities and insults at the woman, identified as Karen Klein.

At one point, Klein removes her sunglasses and begins to cry. A student mocks her, saying, "She probably misses her box of Twinkies."

The students attend Athena Middle School in the town of Greece, a suburb of Rochester, New York.

Klein remains calm during the incident, as students continue to mock her, calling her fat and threatening to rob her home.

At one point, a student threatens to stab Klein.

Media outlets in Rochester reported that several students were questioned and could face charges in juvenile court.

A Facebook page was also launched in support of Klein and within hours had garnered dozens of comments and hundreds of likes.

Another website, Indiegogo, has collected thousands of dollars in pledges to send Klein on a vacation.

FOX5 wants to know what you think about the video. Send your comments to Facebook and The RANT. You can hear the responses on FOX5 News at 10.
