NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A city-wide enforcement event aims to keep drivers in North Las Vegas safe.
The "Joining Forces" event on Thursday will combine efforts between NLVPD's Traffic Unit and the Mesquite Police Department.
Officers plan to focus on drivers who fail to obey traffic control devices, drivers who fail to obey posted speed limits and drivers who create safety hazards for other drivers and pedestrians.
The enforcement is expected to last from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
