LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

For now, the parents whose three young children perished in a mobile home fire last week are not facing charges.

Metro police consider Friday's blaze a tragic accident.

Investigators said the family had been sleeping when the fire started. Both parents were able to escape, but their three kids – all under the age of 3 – did not.

The fire was reported at 10:20 a.m. Friday at the Vans Trailer Oasis Mobile Home Park in the 3600 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North.

Metro homicide detectives and abuse and neglect investigators have ruled out wrongdoing; however, the state could still charge the parents if future findings warrant it.

An anonymous donor has offered to pay for the children's funerals. The Jewish Foundation is coordinating between the donor and the family.
