LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A 24-year-old Las Vegas man accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old in a park restroom claimed the girl didn't fight back and the sex was consensual, according to an arrest report.

Nashar Jackson was arrested Monday after the girl reported the alleged attack to police at Spring Valley High School.

The teen was on her way to summer school classes when she said Jackson approached her on a bus.

The two got off at Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard, and the girl claimed Jackson followed her to a nearby park, police said.

Jackson then pulled her into the restroom and sexually assaulted her in a handicap stall, according to the report.

When asked if she told Jackson "no" or "stop," the girl replied, "No, I was too afraid cause I thought he had a weapon," according to the report.

A man did stumble upon the pair in the stall, police said.

Metro police said Jackson has been arrested a number of times since 2007. He had warrants issued last year for battery and domestic violence with a deadly weapon and violating a restraining order.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Metro's Sexual Assault Section at (702)-828-3307 or Crime Stoppers at (702)-385-5555.
