LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A Las Vegas casino that was demolished two years ago is making gaming available again on Tuesday with the unusual use of a pop-up gambling trailer.
The owner of the Moulin Rouge Casino is opening a temporary mini-gaming hall on the property at Bonanza Road and H Street but only until 2 p.m.
According to a report by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the one-day opening will allow the casino to keep its non-restricted gaming license. Under Nevada law, casinos need to offer gaming at least one day every two years in order to keep their grand-fathered licenses.
The old Moulin Rouge was torn down in 2010 after it had been damaged by fire twice in a period between 2003 and 2009.
The 40-foot gaming trailer will hold 16 slot machines.
