Wranglers' season-ending roster features key players

The team is on ice for now, but the core of the Las Vegas Wranglers' Western Conference-winning squad will likely remain intact for the 2012-13 season.

The team's season-ending roster features 20 players whose ECHL rights will be retained by the team. Of those, eight can be extended qualifying offers, due to the players by July 1.

Players not signed to a contract or extended a qualifying offer by the Wranglers will automatically become free agents.

The complete list – six defensemen, 12 forwards and two goaltenders - is as follows:

The Wranglers' 10th season in Las Vegas opens Sunday, Oct. 14 on the road against the Bakersfield Condors. The home opener at Orleans Arena is slated for Friday, Oct. 19.
