Boulder Highway closed after bicyclist hit by car

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the east end of the Las Vegas valley, police said.

Las Vegas Metro police reported the collision near Boulder Highway and E. Tropicana Avenue just before 2:45 p.m. Monday.

Police said the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Tropicana, just west of the intersection.

Authorities did not immediately disclose the extent of injuries to the bicyclist.

No other injuries were reported.

Police closed off northbound Boulder Highway following the collision. It reopened before 5 p.m.
