HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -
First Lady Michelle Obama's planned return to southern Nevada on Tuesday will be marked with a Grassroots Event with supporters and volunteers, which is set to start at 4:30 p.m.
Campaign officials for her husband, President Barack Obama, said doors will be open at the Henderson Convention Center at 2:30 p.m. for the rally.
The convention center is located at 200 Water Street in downtown Henderson.
The First Lady is expected to encourage supporters to register to vote and volunteer for her husband's re-election campaign.
On Sunday, the campaign's office in Henderson began distributing event tickets to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those tickets were all "sold out" by Monday, campaign officials said.
Her appearance comes on the heels of President Obama's address on student loans and college affordability at University of Nevada, Las Vegas on June 9.
