Smith Center hosting Ribbon of Life event

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts will host Golden Rainbow's "2012 Ribbon of Life" event this Sunday at 1 p.m.

The fundraiser will feature performances from a start-studded cast, including appearances from shows like Chippendales, Peepshow, Phantom and Viva Elvis.

Tickets to the event start at $38 and are available for purchase at www.goldenrainbow.org.

"Ribbon of Life" is one of the largest fundraisers for HIV/AIDS awareness in Southern Nevada.

All of the proceeds raised form the event will benefit the nonprofit organization's financial assistance and affordable housing initiatives.
