Coroner ID's Fla. man fatally struck at 'Electric Daisy'

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Authorities released Monday the name of a Florida man who died when he was struck by a truck outside of the Electric Daisy Festival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Clark County Coroner's office ruled Olivier Henessey's death as accidental.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the 31-year-old from Ponce Inlet, Fla. was struck as he crossed Las Vegas Boulevard South in front of gate No. 6 during the closing hours of EDC on June 11.

He was transported to University Medical Center where he was in critical condition before he died of his injuries on Saturday.

Authorities believe he may have been impaired at the time of the accident.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.
