LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Two people and a pet dog were able to escape a home unharmed that caught fire in east Las Vegas Monday.
Clark County Fire reported the blaze in the 4600 block of Sacks Drive, near Boulder Highway and Harmon Avenue, just after 8 a.m.
The fire started in the kitchen and spread to the patio, CCFD said.
An adult and a child were not injured. A total of 30 firefighters helped knock down the fire and extinguish the flames.
Damage was estimated at $20,000.
The fire's cause is under investigation.
