LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
An armed robber who hides his face with a ski mask has been targeting business in the southwest valley, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
Detectives on Monday released five photographs of the suspect, who is wanted in connection with five robberies dating back to May 27.
The suspect is African-American in his mid-20s with a thin build, and is between 5'6" and 5'8" tall. In addition to the mask, he usually wears a dark sweater or hoodie and white gloves, according to police.
Although the businesses were not identified, police said the robberies took place:
- May 27, at about 8:50 p.m., in the area of Flamingo and Cimarron roads;
- May 29, at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the area of Durango Drive and Peace Way;
- June 2, at approximately 1:27 a.m. in the area of Hualapai Way and Desert Inn Road;
- June 4, at approximately 3:32 a.m., in the area of Peace Way and Buffalo Drive;
- June 7, at approximately 12:26 a.m. in the area of Fort Apache Road and Sahara Avenue.
