LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Forecasted wind gusts of more than 40 miles per hour have prompted Clark County air quality officials to issue a dust advisory Monday.
The Clark County Department of Air Quality issued the advisory from the morning hours to Monday evening.
FOX5 meteorologist Les Krifaton reported wind gusts of 40-50 miles per hour beginning in the late morning.
The wind should affect drivers especially on the Interstate 15 corridor to southern California, Krifaton said.
In addition, Monday will see a low level of humidity, which will give way to heightened wildfire dangers.
