Window Genie is the Cincinnati based franchisor of home services known to “Clean Windows and a Whole Lot More!” Doing a whole lot more now includes giving back to the community through the new program, Windows 4 Wishes.
Windows 4 Wishes is a corporate initiative that encourages community outreach amongst all Window Genie franchise owners. Each locally owned and operated Window Genie location owner will choose an organization/charity to benefit in their community. With Windows 4 Wishes, there are four ways in which a franchisee can give back to the organization/charity of their choice: donate money, volunteer their time, promote that organization for free and/or offer free Window Genie services.
Window Genie owners, Mike and Karen Angle, in Southwest Indianapolis have chosen to support the family center in their area, Sheltering Wings.
The Sheltering Wings mission states:
“Sheltering Wings provides emergency housing for women and children suffering from any form of domestic abuse. We build stable and independent lives through essential programs offered in a supportive and Christ-centered environment.”
Effective immediately, the Angle’s will donate five dollars to Sheltering Wings for each new customer Window Genie of Plainfield gains this year. As a result of a high number of new customers from their recent Groupon® promotion, the Angle’s will be able to initiate their contribution with over $1,000 to Sheltering Wings. The Angle’s said of their participation in Windows 4 Wishes, “We chose Sheltering Wings because it is a locally based organization that helps women and children during a time of crisis and helps the family build a stable and independent future. Through Window Genie, we want to give back to an organization that can make a difference in the lives of families in our community.”

Sheltering Wings is a Christ-based center with 24-hour safe emergency housing for victims of domestic violence and their dependent children who are fleeing from danger. Sheltering Wings offers assistance in achieving emotional and economic stability. They also offer case management providing guidance and linkage of community resources as well as court advocacy for victims in the criminal and civil justice system. They aim to educate and support families in breaking the cycle of abuse.
