Flip flops get you free smoothies Friday

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Put on your flip flops and head to Tropical Smoothie Café for your free 24-ounce Jetty Punch.

All 19 locations will be celebrating National Flip Flop Day on Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

In addition to giving away thousands of smoothies, Tropical Smoothie Café will be raising money for Camp Sunshine, a summer camp designed to help children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, and provide them with a week of relaxation, medical counseling and emotional support.

Customers can contribute to Camp Sunshine by purchasing a $1 paper flip flop. If they donate $5 or more, they will receive a Flip Flop Key Fob good for 10 percent off all purchases for the remaining part of 2012.
