NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A total of 232 violations were recorded in a traffic safety enforcement event in North Las Vegas last week.
Of the violations recorded on June 7, 28 pertained to cell phone violations, North Las Vegas police noted.
Here is a breakdown of the violations:
- 28 speeding violations;
- 18 red light violations;
- 28 cell phone violations;
- 16 seat belt/ child safety seat violations;
- 24 driver's license violations;
- 16 insurance violations;
- 102 other violations.
The "Joining Forces" enforcement event was conducted as part of a statewide campaign and made possible by a Traffic Safety Grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety.
