Police said a woman was held against her will at a southwest Las Vegas home by a man who later barricaded himself from and was arrested by officers. Police told FOX5 the man is a pimp and the woman he held is a prostitute.
Las Vegas Metro police first received a call of an incident involving a woman at a home in the 10000 block of Muscari Way, near Somerset Hills Avenue and Valley View Boulevard, about 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers arrived at the home but couldn't get in or couldn't get into contact with anyone inside, police said.
A SWAT team was eventually called to the scene about 6:30 a.m. By that time, the woman managed to escape the home.
Officers entered the home about an hour later and found the man who was believed to be the suspect in the trunk of a car inside the garage.
Police did not disclose of any injuries in the incident.
