LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

"Eww? What's Eating You?" That's the new exhibit at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum that explores the science of parasites and how some of them prey on humans to live.

Las Vegas comedian Carrot Top is a prominent feature in the exhibit starring as a carnival barker who walks you through the science of the creepy crawlers.

It's a fun and interactive presentation with games, displays and models all geared for both kids and adults. The exhibit's Executive Producer John Good said the goal was to design an experience that would be fun for adults and kids, and teach them about parasites all at the same time.

The executive director of the museum said the presentation will be featured there until September and said it's a great alternative to be outside in the heat. She said the museum at 900 N. Las Vegas Blvd. is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily with admission for adults at $10 and $8 for students, seniors and military. Admission for kids 3 through 11 is $5.

The exhibit is produced by Exhibit IQ and sponsored by Western Exterminator Company.
