LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Las Vegas man accused in the slayings of a mother and her 10-year-old daughter was given a June 2013 trial date after pleading not guilty in court Wednesday.
Bryan Clay, 22, appeared for his arraignment in connection to the deaths of Ignacia and Karla Martinez.
Clay was arrested a couple of weeks after the brutal assaults that also involved Ignacia's husband, Arturo.
On Wednesday, Clay pleaded not guilty to all 10 charges he faces, including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, sexual assault, robbery and burglary.
A judge set a trial date of June 24, 2013, with a pre-trial calendar call scheduled for February next year.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, a suspect broke into the Martinez family home on Robin Street near Rancho Drive and Washington Avenue on April 16 and committed the crimes.
Ignacia and Karla were sexually assaulted and beaten to death.
Arturo Martinez was hospitalized with critical injuries. He has since been released.
Police arrested Clay, linking him to the crime scene through his DNA and clothing.
Clay was also accused of sexually assaulting a 50-year-old woman in a desert area off Vegas and Tonopah drives on April 15.
Prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty.
