LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Two people were hospitalized after the minivan they were in lost control and rolled over, coming to rest on an interstate on-ramp near downtown Las Vegas.

Nevada Highway Patrol reported the single-vehicle accident at 4:48 a.m. on the Interstate 15 off-ramp to Charleston Boulevard.

Troopers said two men were in a white van traveling northbound on the I-15 when their vehicle swerved and went airborne, rolled over and ended up facing the wrong direction on the off ramp.

One of the men was partially ejected from the van while the other was responsive when emergency crews arrived.

NHP believes alcohol could be a factor in the crash. Both men were taken to University Medical Center. One of the men was listed in critical condition while the other sustained minor injuries.

FOX5's traffic anchor Chris Brown said access to westbound Charleston from northbound I-15 was blocked, as well as northbound I-15 access from Charleston.
