Flightlinez fundraiser to help Vegas PBS

Vegas PBS is teaming up with Flightlinez to help keep children's educational programming on the air.

The Flightlinez zip line attraction will donate net proceeds from the rides Monday to Vegas PBS.

Special guests at the event include Curious George, BMX pro dirt jumper Ricardo Laguna, and the "World's Youngest DJ" Baby Chino.

Vegas PBS is asking for support in funding children's educational programs.

It costs $916 per program hour to keep these shows on the air. The programming costs $138,000 annually.

The fundraiser is at the Fremont Street Experience from noon to midnight.

It costs $15 to ride the zip line from noon until 6 p.m.

From 6 p.m. until midnight, it costs $20.
