LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
More than 300,000 people attended the three-night Electric Daisy Carnival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Metro police announced on Monday.
That topped last year's attendance mark of 240,000, despite heavy winds that forced organizers to stop the music festival early Sunday morning.
Police made 54 felony arrests at the event and passed out a handful of misdemeanor citations. The majority of the arrests were narcotics-related, officials said.
The festival was largely trouble-free until Monday morning, when a 31-year-old Florida man was struck by a truck while crossing Las Vegas Boulevard outside the Speedway.
He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
