Person struck by vehicle on Interstate 215

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Nevada Highway Patrol investigated an incident involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Interstate 215 Sunday evening.

Troopers reported the accident just after 8:30 p.m. on the eastbound 215 east of Las Vegas Boulevard.

One person was transported to Sunrise Hospital-Trauma. Authorities, though, did not say if the person hospitalized was the person struck.

NHP said the person struck may have been a construction worker.

No word on the condition of the hospitalized person.
