Electric Daisy Carnival kicks off in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Electric Daisy Carnival is in full-swing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Throughout the operational period of 6 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Saturday, the following has been reported from the Electric Daisy Carnival:

  • 8 misdemeanor citations
  • 1 misdemeanor arrest
  • 30 felony arrests (29 narcotics related; one strong-arm robbery)
  • 0 DUI-alcohol arrests
  • 0 DUI-drug arrests
  • 2 traffic accidents
  • 135 medical calls (six patients transported to area hospitals)

According to Insomniac Productions, there were 110,000 people in attendance Friday night into Saturday morning.

The Electric Daisy Carnival will be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway until Sunday, June 10.
